About

In 1986  Barbara Hairston Roberson , a Dallas native, launched Hairston Roberson Inc. with a line of denim separates and dresses that featured solid sterling silver buttons that were handmade by Navajo Indians in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The line was an instant hit and the buttons became a trademark for Hairston Roberson.

As demand grew,  embroidered white pima cotton shirts with embroidery and sterling silver  buttons from New Mexico and Taxco, Mexico were added followed by embroidered tailored blazers, and beaded vests and jackets.

Hairston Roberson maintained a devoted following for 13 years because of the intricate and original details and exquisite quality and  fit.
